+ I want to hire you! Now what?

Please email your inquiry to cschererdesign@gmail.com. Together, we can explore if we’d be a good fit. If so, we can discuss your desired timeline and my availability. If I do not have availability, I can recommend another designer I love and trust.

If I am available, we can discuss your needs, starting with a statement of work. This contract will include everything from the list of deliverables, the allowed revision amount, and the number of design directions I will pursue. When we agree upon the statement of work, and sign, I can start the creative process!

+ What can I expect during the creative process?

I start with a discovery phase where I learn everything I can about you, your product or service, your target market, and your goals and aspirations. After, I’ll complete visual research and send you a mood board to confirm that we are on the same page. Once we are all in agreement, I will begin my first round of design.

+ How many concepts do you present?

Because I get to know you and your goals during the discovery phase, I typically focus on one to two concepts. My research usually helps to identify one strong direction. However, I understand every client is different! I’m happy to discuss additional directions if you strongly feel it suits your needs.

+ How do you charge?

On most projects, I charge a flat fee, which is the estimate of the time and services needed.

+ I want a website, but I don’t want to use Squarespace. Will you use another platform?

At this time, I work exclusively with Squarespace because it has proven to be the best for my clients. It’s easy to use and requires zero manual updates. Squarespace is a huge time-saver. Easy to Learn and Use
After your site design is complete, I will also make a tutorial video showing you around the backend of your site, making it easy for you to manage your content anytime. You won’t need to pay me or any other designer to make tweaks and edits as your business grows. That’s more money in your pocket already!

Payments are easy—you can pay a monthly or an annual subscription. This includes your site, web hosting, and regular maintenance and upgrades performed by the Squarespace team. Other hosting options include domain names and G-Suite emails.
